Willis and Triple E Celebrate 26 years of Partnership

With their Milestone 50th anniversary happening in 2015, Triple E has much to celebrate.  From the manufacture of their first travel trailer in 1965 to today’s reputation as being a leading RV manufacturer, Triple E has had a long and prosperous journey filled with growth by way of both product line and partnerships.
One such partnership formed in 1989 when the team at Triple E began to search further for reliable building materials to use in their ever-diversifying range of RVs.  As their search led them to discover one of the most reliable products in the market – DuPont™ Corian® - so began the partnership between Triple E and a growing Ontario-based distributor called Willis.
The two companies saw many changes come in their respective markets over the past 26 years, with changing product lines and economic challenges.  But one thing never changed: both companies’ commitment to quality products and dedicated service, and their shared vision of how to best serve the end consumer.
To now celebrate the milestone of reaching 50 years in business, Triple E launched a 50th anniversary Espresso Brown Glamour Décor package for their “Unity” model which features two of Willis’ staple products: DuPont™ Corian® and the new, cutting edge FENIX NTM®.
With Willis’ 50-year anniversary just around the corner, there are certainly many more exciting things in store for both companies who have proven they have a lasting presence in their respective industries.

DuPont & Willis Host VIP Event at Levi’s Stadium

Willis and DuPont were thrilled to host an industry-exclusive event at the next generation Levi’s Stadium – home of the 49ers - on Tuesday, June 2nd.
Guests, which included Architects & Designers as well as fabricators, were given the “VIP treatment” by getting a behind-the-scenes experience of the stadium and an up-close look at several new DuPont innovations, including the new Zodiaq® colors for 2015.  Attendees also had the opportunity to discuss current trends with DuPont Surfaces Color Specialist Mark Woodman.
Several key players at DuPont and Willis were in attendance, including DuPont North American Marketing Manager, Brian Albans; Willis West Coast Business Development Manager, Gary Ness; and Willis North American Marketing Manager, John Topic.
North America Business Director for DuPont, Angela Strzelecki, and Willis President & CEO, Mike Hetherman, had the opportunity to deliver presentations to attendees in the Morabito Theater which features a 40-foot movie screen.  Mike was particularly excited to deliver his “Intro to Willis” presentation to get attendees acquainted with Willis, their new distributor of Corian® and Zodiaq® in Northern California.

DuPont Launches “That’s Progress” Campaign



DuPont recently launched their “That’s Progress” campaign, all focused on refreshing perspectives of DuPont and their role as a global pioneer in the many industries they touch.

Burlington, Ontario, May 14, 2015 – Willis, in partnership with DuPont, is excited to unveil a new DuPont™ Corian® commercial as part of the DuPont “That’s Progress” campaign.  The commercial, which will air in cities across the US, highlights the benefits of Corian® - specifically in relation to its ideal properties for healthcare environments.
Said Willis President & CEO, Mike Hetherman, “Willis and DuPont have been strategic partners for 40 years.  We are excited to spread the word that Corian® is still, as it has always been, a great raw material.  Showcasing its optimal performance in healthcare environments – especially in an age where Hospital Acquired Infections are an increasing problem – is an important conversation that affects not only the hospital itself, but patient satisfaction.”

The city of San Francisco has been slated as one of the cities in which the commercial will air, which is of particular interest to Hetherman.  “As Willis has recently become the new DuPont distributor in Northern California, we have been focusing on bringing a fresh and exciting perspective to the DuPont brand.  The timing for this new campaign couldn’t be more perfect.”
As part of the same campaign, a two-minute Corian® mini-documentary is slated to air later on this year on BBC.  These campaign video clips will be shared via DuPont and Willis’ various social media channels.

Hetherman, along with both the Willis and DuPont teams, are confident that this initiative will showcase new and innovative solutions to the building industry.
