FENIX NTM® MATERIAL AT DWELL ON DESIGN 2014

The nanotech matt material for interiors on stage in Los Angeles.

Los Angeles, June 2014 - FENIX NTM®, the new smart and nanotech material designed by Arpa Industriale will be displayed during the Dwell On Design Trade Show 2014 (booth: 1009). The innovative product was designed to combine refined aesthetic solutions with cutting edge technological performances.

FENIX NTM is obtained through next generation resins developed thanks to Arpa Industriale’s research. With low light reflectivity, its surface is extremely matte, anti-fingerprint, and pleasantly soft to the touch. Through the use of nanotechnology, FENIX NTM regenerates itself: possible microscratches may be in fact thermally healed.

To create an evocative surface material, ArpaLab put great care into the study of a discreetly and charming decors selection. Nature inspires the palette of silent colors: warm and icy whites from winter landscapes; light and dark greys from still and running water flows; magnolia and light brown from the essence of earth; acid blue and black from the starry and blackness of the night.

FENIX NTM is highly resistant to scratches, abrasion, rubbing, and dry heat. It is highly resistant to impacts, acid solvents, and household reagents too. While featuring enhanced antibacterial properties that make this surface hygienic and easy to clean, FENIX NTM is also waterproof and mold-free.

FENIX NTM is a material suitable for both vertical and horizontal surfaces and for various interior applications: kitchen, hospitality, healthcare, bathroom, furniture (tables, bookshelves, partitions, chairs, etc.).
FENIX NTM is a timeless material designed to inspire the creativity of interior and industrial designers for their never-ending design stories.

FENIX NTM is available in the following sizes and thicknesses:
4200 x 1600 mm: 0.9, 1.2, 10 and 12 mm.
4300 x 1850 mm: 10 and 12 mm.
